Science Based Business (SBB) provides insight into the career opportunities outside (fundamental) research. It will enable you to gain knowledge of the business practices in science-driven commercial activities. Moreover, SBB can help you to enhance your personal skills for effectively operating in both a research and a business environment.
Introduction to the SBB program
Science Based Business is a pre-MBA programme. It provides business education to science students who do not have prior business knowledge. The SBB specialisation has two directions: the "original" Science Based Business (SBB) differentiation and the more recently started Research Based Business (RBB) differentiation.
Participation requirements
The SBB Specialisation is available for Research Master students. These students also have the option to take elective courses as part of their Research MSc Programme without doing the full SBB Specialisation. BSc students can follow the S&RBB Minor.
